The UK Summer has arrived early!

The UK Summer has arrived early!

Alex Ledger |

It has been great to wake up over the last few days and see so many pilots already making the most of the conditions with flights popping up all over the country on Gaggle. In fact, the UK weather is looking so good at the moment that it is arguably better than what we are currently experiencing in Turkey on our SIV course!

SkyWeek France: 21st to 28th June

For qualified pilots looking for an unforgettable week of flying, we still have a few places available on SkyWeek France in June.

SkyWeek is all about exploring new flying sites, improving your flying skills, doing some amazing XC flights and meeting like minded people, while enjoying some of the most spectacular scenery in Europe. Depending on the weather, we aim to visit a variety of sites and make the most of the conditions available each day. Every SkyWeek is slightly different, which is part of what makes the experience so rewarding.

For pilots who do not yet own their own equipment, we have a selection of wings, harnesses and paramotors available to hire, making it possible to join the trip without the need to invest in a full setup beforehand.

If you would like a taste of what SkyWeek is all about, take a look at what we got up to last year: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fn86e0FHOqA

UK Season: 4th July to 27th August

If learning to fly a paramotor is on your bucket list, we still have availability on our UK beginner courses from Course 3 onwards. This year we are offering a 6 day consecutive course and a 6 day flexible course, which allows people to train over weekends and evenings, to avoid having to take a week off work. The courses with availability are:

Course 3: 18th to 23rd July
Course 4: 25th to 30th July
Course 5: 1st to 6th August
Course 6: 8th to 13th August
Course 7: 15th to 20th August
Course 8: 22nd to 27th August

July and August are traditionally our busiest months of the year. The longer days, warmer temperatures and generally more reliable weather make them ideal months to train, which means places often fill quickly once the season gets underway.
