1. 1 & 2 Day Taster Course: Open Sky Level

Paramotoring in Mere, WiltshireThe 1 & 2 Day Taster Course follows the first few days of the APPI PPG syllabus and takes place over weekends in Mere, Wiltshire. They are designed for complete beginners and allow students to learn the skills required to fly. During the Taster Course the aim is to get the student off the ground while flying a Paraglider, either undertow or from a hill. If the weather allows it also includes a tandem flight. Having competed the Taster Course students can continue on the longer 6 or 12 day course to fly a Paramotor solo. For further info contact SkySchool.

2. 6 Day Beginner Course: Adventure Pilot Level

Paragliding in Wiltshire with SkySchool UKThe beginner course follows the first half of the APPI PPG syllabus and is designed for complete beginners or Paraglider pilots with less than 20 hours. Training consists of ground handling, motor usage instruction, basic lectures and normally culminates in at least 1 solo flight. At the end students can advance onto the 6 Day Intermediate Paramotoring Course. For further info contact SkySchool.

3. 6 Day Intermediate Course: Pilot Level

The 6 day intermediate course follows the second half of the APPI PPG syllabus and is designed for intermediates who have either sat a 6 day Adventure Pilot Level course or Paraglider pilots with more than 20 hours experience. It consists of further training including low level flying, precision landings and cross country tasks, as well as more advanced theory about meteorology, air law, navigation and effects of the motor on the wing. At the end of the course students should attain the APPI PPG Pilot license. For further info contact SkySchool.

4. 12 Day Pilot Course: Pilot Level

The 12 day course follows the full APPI PPG syllabus and is made up of the 6 Day Beginners course and the 6 Day Intermediates course, as described above. Paramotoring in Mere, WiltshireThe courses in the UK take place in Mere, Wiltshire approximately 2 hours west of London and start on Saturdays. The daily meeting place is opposite the Co-Op in the centre of town. All UK courses start at 09:30 and end in the late afternoon/early evening depending upon the weather.
