Ride and Glide

In December 2012 SkySchool is running a bespoke Paragliding and Off Road Motorbiking Trip to Morocco in association with Motoaventures, one of the leading Off Road Tour operators. There are 4 options, all qith specific dates:

We are offering 4 options for the 6 days:

1. Ride and Glide as a Student

2. Ride and Glide as a Pilot

3. Just Glide as a Student

4. Just Glide as a Pilot

1. Ride and Glide as a Student: 12th - 19th December 2012

Price: €1,900

The Ride and Glide as a Student option is designed for those who have no or very little Paragliding experience. It consists of 3 days of Off Road Motorbiking from Ouarzazarte to the flying site at Zagora, then 3 days of Paragliding instruction at Zagora.

Included in the total cost is the following:

• Return transfer by minibus to/from Marrakech Airport
• All biking equipment including a KTM 450, fuel, protective clothing, 3rd pary insurance and a GPS
• Professional paragliding instruction and all equipment including a wing, harness, reserve, helmet and radio
• Twin share accommodation with half board, all meals and daytime drinking water
• A support vehicle and transport to/from the flying sites

Not included in the total cost:

• Flights to/from Marrakech Airport
• Personal accident insurance
• Alcohol

2. Ride and Glide as a Pilot: 12th - 19th December

Price: €1,500

The Ride and Glide as a Pilot option is designed for those who already have some Paragliding experience, a pilot's license and preferably own their own equipment. It consists of 3 days of Off Road Motorbiking from Ouarzazarte to the flying site at Zagora, then 3 days of Paragliding guidance at Zagora.

Included in the total cost is the following:

• Return transfer by minibus to/from Marrakech Airport
• All biking equipment including a KTM 450, fuel, protective clothing, 3rd pary insurance and a GPS
• Professional paragliding guidance
• Twin share accommodation with half board, all meals and daytime drinking water
• A support vehcile and transport to/from the flying sites

3. Just Glide as a Student: 7th - 15th December

Price: €TBC

The Just Glide as a Student option is designed for those who have no or very little Paragliding experience and wish to only focus on Paragliding. It consists of 6 days of Paragliding instruction at Zagora after which students can potentially qualify as APPI Adventure Pilots. The itinerary is as follows:

• 7th Dec: Depart London Heathrow at 17:10 with Royal Air Maroc. Change at Casablanca and arrive at Ouzazarte at 22:50
• 8th Dec: 2.5 hour transfer to Zagora
• 9th - 14th Dec: 6 Day Paragliding Course in Zagora
• 15th Dec: 2.5 hour transfer to Ouzazarte in time for the flight at 20:45 then overnight in Casabalanca
• 16th Dec: Depart Casablanca at 12:20 arrving in London Heathrow at 15:50 with Royal Air Maroc

Included in the total cost is the following:

• Return transfer by minibus to/from Ouzazarte Airport
• Professional paragliding guidance
• Twin share accommodation with half board, all meals and daytime drinking water
• Transport to/from the flying sites

4. Just Glide as a Pilot: 7th - 15th December

Price: €TBC

The Just Glide as a Pilot option is designed for those who have some Paragliding experience and a license and wish to only focus on Paragliding. It consists of 6 days of Paragliding guidance at Zagora with the following itinerary:

• 7th Dec: Depart London Heathrow at 17:10 with Royal Air Maroc Change at Casablanca and arrive at Ouzazarte at 22:50
• 8th Dec: 2.5 hour transfer to Zagora
• 9th - 14th Dec: 6 Days Paragliding in Zagora
• 15th Dec: 2.5 hour transfer to Ouzazarte in time for the flight at 20:45 then overnight in Casabalanca
• 16th Dec: Depart Casablanca at 12:20 arrving in London Heathrow at 15:50 with Royal Air Maroc
