Dean Eldridge in BoliviaSkySchool is at the forefront of pioneering the use of Paramotors for a practical purpose. Throughout History explorers have needed increased overland mobility and a means of obtaining an aerial view of the terrain. The advent of the Paramotor has provided the explorer with a compact, robust and relatively inexpensive manned aerial reconnaissance vehicle.

SkySchool has been involved in two expeditions, the Bolivia Expedition in 2007, where Dean Eldridge became the first person to use a Paramotor for a scientific purpose, and the SkyCar Expedition in 2009, where Neil Laughton became the first man to pilot a flying car across the Gibraltar Straits. The SkyCar came to SkySchool's flying site at Aerodromo Ordis in Spain in January 2009 having never properly flown and Alex Ledger instucted Neil Laughton on his first flight up to 1000ft.

We are always keen to hear from those who are interested in using the Paramotors for a practical purpose, be it for filming and photography or aerial reconnaisance and transportation. Therefore if you have any ideas or questions do contact us.
