Less than 3 hours from SkySchool's base at Aerodromo Ordis is Organya, one of the best Paragliding sites in Europe. The mountain at Organya provides perfect flying opportunities for all pilot levels, from complete beginners and intermediates who require instruction, to experienced pilots who simply require transport and guidance. SkySchool runs two different types of Paragliding courses at Organya, the 6 Day Beginners and the 6 Day Intermediates, which combine to create the 12 day APPI Pilot course, after which students have the opporunity to attain the APPI Paraglider Pilot qualification. Organya is a fantastic location with consistent weather conditions which allow pilots of all standards to develop their skills over a short period of time. The course fee includes all equipment, transport on site and instruction. It does not inlude transport to the site, accommodation, food or insurance. We suggest customers use either Sports Cover Direct or Dogtag for their insurance. To make an enquiry or booking contact us.
Association of Professional Paragliding Instructors
SkySchool runs courses around the world and is therefore associated with APPI, the Association of Professional Paragliding Instructors, which is an international organisation, similar to PADI for Scuba Diving. All students have the opportunity to attain an APPI qualification having sat a course and the two qualifications we offer are the Open Sky Pilot and the Adventure Pilot. Complete beginners should sit a 6 Day Beginners course, which offers the Open Sky Pilot qualification, before sitting the 6 Day Intermediate course, which offers the Adventure Pilot qualification. These courses combine to make the 12 Day course. Students who have completed a Paramotor course can sit the 6 Day Intermediate course and attain the Adventure Pilot qualification.
