Pilot Plus 'Paramotor First Response' Article

In May 2010 Dan Tye, the editor of Pilot Plus magazine, wrote an article about SkySchool's plans to develop a Paramotor First Response team with the aid agency Shelter Box. The aim is to use Paramotors as 'Eyes in the Sky' to provide aerial reconnaissance to the aid agencies on the ground and also the the Paratrikes to deliver supplies.

AV8 Magazine 'Free Flying in the Himalayas' Article

In January 2010 SkySchool MD Alex Ledger travelled to Pokhara in Nepal for 3 weeks of Paragliding. It was one of the best Paragliding trips he has ever been on and he subsequently wrote an article about his experiences of flying with Griffin Vultures amongst the snow capped Himalayan peaks. Alex plans to run some Paragliding Trips in 2011 and thus share the fantastic experience of flying in Nepal.

Go Flying Article

In November 2009 Dan Tye from Go Flying and Pilot Magazine sat a SkySchool Paramotoring course in Spain. He was a natural and quickly picked up the skills required to fly solo. His article, which featured in the January 2010 edition of Go Flying Magazine, describes the experience of learning how to fly a Paramotor extremely well.

AV8 Magazine 'A year in the life of a Paramotor Instructor' Article

2009 was a busy year for SkySchool MD Alex Ledger, who was asked by AV8 Magazine to write an article summarizing his experiences. The article includes his involvement in the SkyCar Expedition, learning how to Speed Ride, Paragliding in Brazil, Paramotoring in Spain and a whole lot more.

Sunday Times Article

In June 2008 Will Drew sat a SkySchool Paramotoring course in Spain and recorded his experiences in an article which featured in the Sunday Times on February 15th 2009.

Today's Pilot Article

At the same time as Will Drew, Simon Hazeldine also sat a SkySchool Paramotoring course in Spain and wrote a very informative article which featured in Today's Pilot in September 2008.

AV8 Magazine 'Paramotoring is for Girls' Article

In April 2009 Kim Vande Velde, a member of SkyCar Expedition Team, sat a SkySchool Paramotoring course in Spain and became SkySchool's first female student to successfully fly a Paramotor. She wrote a very good article about her experiences which featured in the June 2009 edition of AV8 Magazine.

AV8 Magazine 'Testing the SkyCar' Article

In January 2009 the SkyCar Expedition Team left London with an untested Flying Car in an attempt to fly and drive to Timbuktu. Prior to making an attempt to fly across the Gibraltar Straits the Team visited SkySchool in Spain to test the SkyCar. Alex Ledger, the SkySchool MD, was the instructor and wrote an article which featured in the April 2009 edition of AV8 Magazine.

AV8 Magazine 'Speed Riding' Article

After the SkyCar Expedition in January 2009 SkySchool MD, Alex Ledger, went to Valfrejus in the French Alps for a 3 day Speed Riding course and wrote an article which featured in the May 2009 edition of AV8 Magazine.

FHM Magazine

In July 2008 FHM Magazine wrote a short piece about the Parajet Volution Paramotor, featuring a very good looking model, and recommended SkySchool as the place to learn. We obviously agreed with this!
