Parajet SkyCar

Last Weekend the Sunday Times featured an article on Parajet's latest innovation, the SkyCar. The SkyCar has been designed by Giles Cardozo, the Managing Director of Parajet, with the aim of travelling from London to Timbuktu in January 2009. The SkyCar is a modified RAGE dune buggy with the ability to do 0-60mph in 4.2 seconds on the ground and 80mph in the air. Powered by a large 3 blade propeller in flight the SkyCar uses a specially modified Paramania Powerglider which is controlled via two foot pedals as opposed to the usual hand toggles. SkySchool hopes to one day offer specialised training for these hybrid craft and supports this exciting venture 100%. For further information visit www.parajet.com or find both Parajet and SkySchool on stand 56 at the NEC Sports and Leisure Aviation show on the 29th and 30th November.

Today's Pilot article on SkySchool

In July 2008 Simon Hazeldine, the Assistant Editor of Today's Pilot, visited SkySchool in Spain in order to learn how to Paramotor and write an article on his experiences. The article can be found in this month's magazine which is currently available in most British news agents. It is very well written with an array of excellent photographs which document his time with us superbly.

All readers of the Today's Pilot magazine benefit from a 10% discount on a SkySchool Paramotoring course if they produce a scanned copy of the article! Click here to view the Autumn 2008 course dates:
