Extreme Gold Itinerary

Friday

  • Fly to Barcelona Girona Airport arriving in the afternoon.
  • Collected by a member of the SkySchool team and driven to the hotel in Castillo d'Empuries.
  • Taken out for supper in Empuriabrava, Europe's largest inland man made harbour and then a sample of the nightlife!

Saturday

  • Collected at 11.00am and taken to the Drop Zone in Empuriabrava.
  • Enjoy the fantastic experience of a Tandem Skydive from 12,000ft complete with DVD and photos.
  • Late lunch followed by a relaxation period on the beach.Tandem Trike
  • Taken to the SkySchool HQ at Aerodromo Ordis for a tandem Microlight flight around the beautiful Catalunya countryside.
  • Taken out for supper in Figueres, the birth place of Salvador Dali and then a sample of the Figueres nightlife.

Sunday

  • Collected at 10.00am and taken out on a 65kph speed boat around the Cap de Creus to have a BBQ lunch on a secluded beach.
  • Taken back to the hotel for a shower and change before being dropped back at Girona Airport in time for the evening flight home.
  • Time to relax on the plane allowing you to think about returning to sit one of our many extreme sports courses after having had a hell of a weekend!

This is obviously subject to good weather however this part of Spain is renowned for consistently stable weather conditions, particularly from between the beginning of May and the end of September. In the event of bad weather tandem skydiving is replaced by half a day of mountain biking around the foothills of the Pyrenees and tandem microlighting replaced by a late afternoon session of Go Kart racing.

Cost

£650 per person

This includes airport transfers to and from Barcelona Girona Airport, 2 nights shared accommodation in a twin room in a 4 star hotel, a tandem skydive with DVD and photos or 1/2 a day mountain biking, a tandem paramotor flight with DVD and photos or a Go Karting session, 1/2 a day speed boating and a BBQ lunch. It does not include flights, food, alcohol or insurance.

Further Information

Extreme Weekends are for people who are at least 21 years old and are medically fit enough to take part in these activities. The minimum group size is 4 and the maximum 10. The Extreme Weekends are available any weekend between April and November however these holidays can also be organised mid week. The best time to enjoy this unique experience is between May and September.

Flights should be booked with Ryan Air and one should aim to arrive before 5.00pm on Friday afternoon and depart no sooner than 4.00pm on Sunday afternoon. Insurance can be organised through On Risk by calling them on +44(0)2380 207 630.
