Instructor Course

March 2008: Aerodromo Ordis, Spain
SkySchool hosted an instructor course run by Mike Campbell-Jones. The course was a huge success with pilots from a variety of locations including Dubai, Slovenia, Holland and the UK. Due to the success of this course another one is planned for November 2008 with the intention of offering a brand new qualification from the newly formed Powered Paragliding International Instructors Organisation; also known as PPGio: www.ppgio.com

Sport and Leisure Aviation Show

24-25 November 2007: NEC, Birmingham, UK
SkySchool recently exhibited at the Sport and Leisure Aviation Show alongside Paramania Powergliders. We had a good show with lots of interest for 2008 courses. It was good to see so many familiar faces and we would like thank everyone who visited us on the stand and look forward to hopefully seeing you all next year: www.theflyingshow.co.uk

Bolivia Expedition Success

August 2007
SkySchool Instructor, Dean Eldridge and SkySchool pilot, Mark Williams, have now safely returned home after completing a successful Scientific Exploration of a remote meteorite crater in the Bolivian jungle. The expedition leader, John Blashford Snell, described the expedition as being 100% successful and the use of the Paramotors as invaluable. Due to the expedition's success, plans are already under way for an expedition to Botswana in search for a lost city. Those interested in being involved in a SkySchool Expedition should contact us.

Mt Everest Paramotoring World Record

May 2007
SkySchool would like to congratulate Giles Cardozo and Bear Grylls, who are affiliated with SkySchool, for their record breaking Paramotor flight over Mt Everest. Bear flew higher than the summit at 29,500ft and Giles reached 28,000ft. This is a truely record breaking feat and a huge step forward in the world of Paramotoring.
