Parajet Paramotors

SkySchool is the official Parajet training school and distributes their range of Paramotors. Parajet is a British company based in Mere, Wiltshire and produces the Volution and Cyclone range of paramotors. Parajet was set up by Gilo Cardozo in 2000 and is now without doubt the world's leading paramotor manufacturer. In 2007 Parajet designed the engine behind Bear Grylls' Mission Everest attempt and in 2008 they developed the SkyCar. Their range of paramotors are designed to suit all types of pilot and come in three different sizes. They are all fitted with low hang point harnesses which increases the pilot's comfort and make the wing more stable and easy to fly.

The Cyclone Range

The Cyclone range, which uses the Rotron engine, is the ultimate blend of precise and responsive performance, exquisite craftsmanship and genuine design innovation and has been designed and engineered for an unrivalled level of flying exhilaration. With fewer moving parts, the Rotron is a revolutionary single-rotor, four-stroke rotary engine, making it considerably smaller, more fuel efficient, more powerful and more reliable than any other equivalent piston engine. The Cyclone range is therefore only suitable for intermediate and advanced pilots. Parajet produce three different types of Cyclone paramotor; the 294cc Macro, the 160cc Macro and the 160cc Compact.

Parajet Rotron 294ccThe 294cc Macro delivers the highest power to weight ratio of any paramotor engine in the world and achieves such performance with less noise and zero reciprocating vibration. The Cyclone 294cc Macro is aimed at pilots who have substantial experience and a good knowledge base of paramotoring, looking for ultimate performance. It is also fantastic for tandem flying. The 160cc Macro fuses together the powerful Rotron engine with the Macro chassis and frame to produce a truly fuel efficient paramotor, 20% more than an equivalent HP 2 stroke engine, while delivering less noise with no reciprocating vibration. This combination provides the pilot with instantaneous access to high levels of power and thrust from the 25 horsepower and has the highest power to weight ratio compared to any other combustion engine with the same horsepower. A small performance paramotor without equal, the 160cc Compact will deliver everything an all-round pilot is looking for. The Compact’s lightweight, super strong aerofoil structure and highly responsive flying characteristics have been a favourite of Parajet customers since its conception. The Volution Range

The Volution is the worlds first and only paramotor to be designed completely from the ‘ground up’. Every detail is unique, including bespoke injection moulded components, specially extruded aerofoil alloy sections, the proprietary ParaJet XT180 engine and even the Scimitar low noise prop and weight shift harness. The Volution is a highly compact and transportable power unit, the aerofoil chassis and cage duct design offers enormously superior strength over conventional tubular sections. The unique aerofoil duct compresses propeller tip vortices resulting in a quieter flight. The Volution range has three seizes; Macro, Compact and Micro which are fitted with either a 14, 10 or 6 litre fuel tank. All Volution paramotors come with electric start, in flight recharge, carbon fibre propellers and a unique cage design. The entire Volution range is therefore ideal for beginner and intermediate pilots.

Parajet Volution

The Macro is perfect for long distance flying with a 3 hour flight range from its 14 litre fuel tank. With a staggering 70kg of thrust, it has the ultimate efficiency, power and strength. It is also fitted with the latest 1.3 metre carbon fibre Scimitar propeller. The Macro is suitable for heavier pilots weighing between 75 and 120kg. The Compact is the most popualr, all round performance paramotor and the result of 12 years experience in the industry. It has a high power to weight ratio and a small carbon fibre Scimitar propeller which enables easy take-off with little noise. The Compact is suitable for pilots weighing between 65 and 100kg. The Micro is the ultra light weight paramotor designed for small guys and girls. It is lightweight, compact and incredibly easy to transport. It has a high power to weight ratio and performs just like the larger models with responsive and dynamic handling. The Micro is ideal for female and smaller male pilots weighing between 50 and 70kg.
