SkySchool runs 6 and 12 Day courses designed for beginners and intermediates. The 6 Day beginners course combines with the 6 Day intermediate course to make the 12 Day Addiction course.
6 Day Courses: £745
Beginners Course: Designed for complete beginners, Paraglider pilots with less than 20 hours or Skydivers with less than 500 jumps. Students sit the first 6 days of the 12 day Foot Launched Microlight (FLM) syllabus. Training consists of an introduction to the sport and equipment, launch and ground handling practice, motor usage instruction, basic meteorology and air law lectures and, all being well, should culminate in at least one solo flight allowing students to progress onto the 6 Day Intermediate course.
Intermediate Course: Designed for those who have either sat a 6 day beginners course, Paraglider pilots with more than 20 hours or Skydivers with over 500 jumps. The 6 Day Intermediate course is the second 6 days of the 12 day FLM training syllabus. It consists of more advanced training such as low level flying, precision landings, limited fuel tasks and cross country tasks. The course also covers more advanced theory including further meteorology, air law, navigation, and effects of the motor on the wing. At the end of the course students should be capable of flying a Paramotor safely and competently without the need for an instructor.
Included in the Course: The course fee includes all equipment hire and insurance, instruction and log books, fuel and transport on site. It does not include accommodation, transport to the site, food, drink or personal insurance.
