Paragliding in Switzerland

Paragliding

Paragliding is arguably the purest form of flight. Pilots use the natural elements; ridge lift created by the wind rushing up a slope and thermic lift created by the sun, to fly hundreds of miles and for hours at a time. Due to its simplicity and low cost it is one of the most popular forms of aviation.

SkySchool Switzerland, based in Verbier, allows almost anyone the opportunity to learn this fantastic sport in one of the most ideal sites in the world. Courses follow the Swiss Paragliding Federation (FSVL) training syllabus and students have the opportunity to acquire the FSVL Pilot's license which can be transferred to the BHPA Club Pilot qualification.
