Kitesurfing Locations in Kenya and Spain

All training takes place at Che Shale which is just 25kms north of Malindi and two and half hours from Mombasa.

The training takes place on Kajama beach which has some of the most amazing kitesurfing conditions in the world. By day you can settle into epic winds and warm waters whilst blasting across flat water or out to the reef to find Indian ocean rollers. Accommodation

All students are accommodated in the unique Kajama Beach Bandas which are situated on the coast and are some of the only properties in the 5km bay. The bandas are ideal for those wanting to stay at this blissful spot for an extended period of time without breaking the bank. Kajama offers five bandas that are built on stilts, with a palm-thatched roof, wood floor and private veranda to chill on at sunset. Each banda is set in a peaceful tropical garden on the edge of miles and miles of empty beaches. Bandas can sleep up to three people with one double bed and one single bed.

Food

The course fee includes breakfast and supper which is served at the Kajama Beach Banda resort. Breakfast includes a selection of fruits, toasts, eggs, bacon, yogurt, cereals and pancakes. The local Che Shale Restaurant is known on the Kenyan coast for its fresh seafood, grilled meats, home made pasta dishes, tropical fruit platters and fresh-baked bread, as well as other home-made specialties like seaweed in batter picked up fresh from the beach.

Flights

Flight should be booked to and from Mombasa Airport from where you will be collected and drive the two and half hours up the coast to the Kajama Beach Banda resort.
