Expeditions
SkySchool is at the forefront of pioneering the use of Paramotors for a practical purpose. Throughout History explorers have needed increased overland mobility and a means of obtaining an aerial view of the terrain. The advent of the Paramotor has provided the explorer with a compact, robust and relatively inexpensive manned aerial reconnaissance vehicle.
SkySchool has been involved in two expeditions, the Bolivia Expedition in 2007, where Dean Eldridge became the first person to use a Paramotor for a scientific purpose, and the SkyCar Expedition in 2009, where Neil Laughton became the first man to pilot a flying car across the Gibraltar Straits. We are currently planning our own expedition to Africa in order to use the Paramotors for various humanitarian and scientific purposes.
